A confirmation receipt will be issued upon full payment. About The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo The first NFR was held in 1959 in Dallas. It was later held in Los Angeles and Oklahoma City before moving to Las Vegas in 1985 with the help of Las Vegas visiionary Benny Binion. The Wrangler NFR is one of the hottest tickets in town, selling out its last 220 performances (over 20 years worth). The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo is the biggest prize money rodeo in the world. In fact, it paid out over $5.5 million to contestants just last year. The NFR is also the most prestigious rodeo, deciding which cowboys will wear the gold buckle as world champion each year! The NFR runs each December at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. The Thomas & Mack Center is located at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. EAch of the 10 days, you'll see the top 15 money winners in each of seven different events compete in: bull riding, bareback riding, calf roping, saddle bronc riding, team roping, steer wrestling, and barrel racing. 2008 Crusher Rentals PRCA World Standings Steer Wrestling 2008 Cowboy Christmas Gift Show Information Be sure not to miss this, and admission is free! The Cowboy Christmas Gift Show is the longest running and only "original" gift show of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. The show will be open from 10:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. during each day of the NFR, Dedember 4th through December 13th. Enjoy walking through this amazing gift show, with more than enough wares to keep even the most avid shopper entertained all day....probably for several days! The show is located in the North Halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center, at Paradise Road and Desert Inn, just one block East of Las Vegas Boulevard. OVer 300,000 square feet of show floor hosts 400 plus vendors from across the U.S. and Canada. You'll see a unique and vast selection of products including customized jewelry, western wear, boots and spurs, saddles, roping gear, furniture, original art, handmade crafts, as well as a great selection of Official Wrangler NFR and PRCA merchandise. There is even a free shuttle from The Cowboy Christmas Show directly to the Thomas & Mack Center so that you won't miss the rodeo!
